The participation to the competition is reserved to SIMAI members born not earlier than the first of January 1991 and who are actively carrying out research in the field of Industrial Mathematics.
The prize will be assigned taking into account the scientific merits of the candidate. The profile of the candidate should highlight the following characteristics:
-Autonomy in the scientific production as testified by publications in international recognized journals and conference proceedings
-Capability of developing lines of research of interest to applications of mathematics
-International recognition as testified by prizes, invited talks etc.
-Participation to projects relevant to Industrial Mathematics
CANDIDATES SHOULD SUBMIT THEIR CANDIDATURE BY THE 15TH OF MARCH 2026.
Candidatures are submitted directly by the candidate.
They should indicate the date of birth and a web site containing their Curriculum Vitae. They have also to send a one page cover letter describing their research activities and the relevance to respect the Industrial Mathematics.

Selection Procedure:
the SIMAI Board will nominate a Committee which selects the winner taking into account the expected requirements.
The prize consists of a sum of 1000 Euros and a personal invitation to present the research work in GIMC-SIMAI Young 2026 which will take place in Pisa on June 3-5, 2026.
The award ceremony will be held on June 3 in Pisa.
